
“Tit for Tat” is an Aerosmith early demo from their 1976 album Rocks. The demo was inspired by Fleetwood Mac 1969’s “Searching for Madge” and eventually evolved into what cake to be “Rat in the Cellar”.
“…We had Tit for tat”, based on a “Searching for Madge”, which turned into “Rats in the Cellar”.

Tyler and Hamilton kept referring to this phrase for decades until it eventually made it into the lyrics of verse two of Just Push Play’s, 2001 track “Outta’ your Head“:
